Sensa-Trak II™
![]() Infrared train positioning device useful in showing the exact position of a train in hidden staging yard, tunnels, and hidden siding. Turns on a red LED to show occupied. Sensa-Trak II™ is also used for triggering automatic reversing circuits, triggering flashing grade crossing, and controlling aspect signals. Since its inception in 1995, Sensa-Trak II™ has gone through many revisions. This year is no different, and for 2010 we have listened to the popular demand and designed the Sensa-Trak II™ to be compatible with many different types of roadbed and sub-roadbed thicknesses. Replacing the fixed height LED black plastic standoffs with PC Boards stand offs, we have given you more flexibility when purchasing the Sensa-Trak II™. Version A is designed for sub-roadbed thickness of 1/2" and cork roadbed thickness of 1/8" (N-scale roadbed with 1/2" plywood). Version B is for sub-roadbed thickness of 3/4" and cork roadbed of 3/16" (HO roadbed with 3/4" plywood). Version C is for sub-roadbed thickness of 3/4" and homosote roadbed of 1/2" (HO roadbed and 3/4" plywood). Version D is for any type of roadbed or subroadbed. It uses wire connections to the Sensa-Trak II PC board and IR Board. New for 2010 is the IR Diode with wire and connectors which can be purchase separately. |
